Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 20–24 Oreo cookies (whole or roughly crushed)
- 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- Non-stick spray or butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Line the bottom with Oreo cookies in a single layer.
- Distribute cubed cream cheese over the Oreos.
- Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly across the layer.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over everything—do not stir.
- Pour melted butter over the cake mix, covering as evenly as possible.
- Top with chocolate chips if using.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until edges are bubbly and the center is set but soft.
- Let rest 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a sprinkle of espresso powder to the dry mix.
Don’t stir the layers—keeping them separate ensures that signature dump cake texture.
Best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
