Ingredients

Scale

Maple-Glazed Sausage Bites

1 lb cocktail sausages

1/3 cup maple syrup

2 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of cayenne

Butternut Squash Twists

2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed

1 cup roasted butternut squash, mashed

2 tbsp finely chopped sage

1/2 cup grated Parmesan

1 egg, beaten

1/4 tsp nutmeg

Black pepper to taste

Apple-Brie Crostini

1 baguette, thinly sliced

1 wheel Brie cheese

1 crisp apple (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp honey

Olive oil

Fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Simmer glaze ingredients for sausage over low heat. Toss sausages in glaze and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Mash squash, spread over puff pastry, top with sage, cheese, and spices. Sandwich with second pastry, cut into strips, twist, and bake 18–22 minutes.
  • Toast baguette slices brushed with olive oil. Top with Brie and apple. Return to oven briefly, then drizzle with balsamic glaze and thyme.

Notes

Prepare the balsamic glaze and roasted squash a day ahead.

Store puff pastry twists in an airtight container and reheat for crispness.

Use quality maple syrup for the glaze—it makes a big difference.
