Ingredients
- 4–5 medium carrots, washed and chopped
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 small apple or orange (optional)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger (optional)
- ½ to 1 cup filtered water (if using blender)
- Ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions
- Wash and peel (if needed) the carrots, then cut into chunks.
- If using a juicer, feed the carrots (and other add-ins) through the chute. Collect juice and stir in lemon juice.
- If using a blender, add carrots, water, and other ingredients. Blend until smooth.
- Strain through cheesecloth or nut milk bag into a bowl.
- Stir in lemon juice. Pour into a glass over ice.
